Suprafața pictată trebuie protejată de surse directe și puternice de căldură sau umezeală, ca să se poată bucura de aceasta generații întregi. Tonalitatea închisă a lemnului este dată de vechimea lui.
The painted surface was manually prepared with homemade linen textile and gesso and varnished with Talens varnish. The barrel wood was treated with linen oil and wax. The dark tone of the wood is due to aged wood.
The painted surface must be protected from direct sources of heat and moisture, so it should resist for entire generations.
